My Event Listing Was Paused — What Happened?

What to do when a billing failure pauses your event listing.

1

Why was my listing paused?

This applies to recurring monthly promotion. If you turned promotion on while publishing, StoneFjord bills $2.99 to your saved card every 30 days; if one of those charges fails — expired card, insufficient funds, or a replaced card — your listing is automatically paused: hidden from browse results but not deleted. (Publishing a listing, and a one-time 30-day promotion on a listing that's already live, are never billed monthly — so only recurring monthly promotion can fail and pause a listing.)

2

How will I know?

StoneFjord sends an email notification whenever a billing failure occurs, including the reason and a link to update your payment method.

3

How to reactivate

Go to My Account → My Listings. You'll see your paused listing. Click the edit icon and follow the prompt to update your payment method. Your listing reactivates immediately.

4

Will I lose my Promoted status?

No — your Promoted status is preserved when you reactivate. You won't need to re-purchase it.

You're all set!
